With so many details to consider, having a well-structured timeline is essential to ensure everything runs smoothly. As we prepare for our big day, I wanted to share our wedding timeline, which outlines the key moments we’ve planned for our celebration.
11:00 AM – Venue Decoration
The day begins bright and early with venue decoration. Our talented team of decorators—aka me, my family, and some friends—will transform the space into a romantic haven, complete with candles, lighting, and personal touches that reflect our style. This is when the magic starts to happen!
1:00 PM – Getting Ready
As the clock strikes one, it’s time for the bridal party to start getting ready. Hair and makeup will be in full swing, and we’ll be soaking in every moment with our closest friends and family.
3:30 PM – First Look, Prayer, Vows, and Photos
At 3:30 PM, we’ll have our first look. This intimate moment will allow us to see each other before the ceremony, capturing the raw emotions of the day. Following this, we’ll take a moment for a prayer, exchange our vows privately, and then it’s time for some beautiful photos to commemorate this special occasion.
4:30 PM – Ceremony
The ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. Surrounded by our loved ones, we’ll say “I do” and officially become husband and wife. This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.
5:00 PM – Appetizer and Photos
After the ceremony, guests will enjoy appetizers while we take additional photos. This is a great time for everyone to mingle and celebrate our union before the festivities continue. We will have a photo backdrop for them to use.
6:00 PM – Entrance
At 6:00 PM, we’ll make our grand entrance as a married couple! We’re excited to kick off the celebration and share our joy with all our guests.
6:05 PM – First Dance
Just moments after our entrance, we’ll take to the dance floor for our first dance as a married couple. This will be a magical moment, filled with love and laughter, as we share one of our favorite song together.
6:15 PM – Food/Greeting
Dinner will be served at 6:15 PM, and we’ll take this time to greet our guests. We want to ensure everyone feels appreciated for being part of our special day.
7:30 PM – Cake Cutting
At 7:30 PM, it’s time for the cake-cutting! We can’t wait to share this sweet moment and indulge in a slice of our beautiful wedding cake.
7:45 PM – Thank You Speech
Following the cake cutting, we’ll have a thank you speech from us. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
8:00 PM – Speeches
At 8:00 PM, we’ll hear from our loved ones as they share their speeches. We’re looking forward to the heartfelt words and maybe a few funny stories that will make us all laugh.
8:30 PM – Dancing
The dance floor will open at 8:30 PM! We can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family, dancing the night away to our favorite tunes.
7:45 PM – Thank You Speech
Following the cake cutting, we’ll have a thank you speech from us. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
9:30 PM – Send-off
As the night winds down, we’ll have our send-off at 9:30 PM. We’re planning something special to make this moment unforgettable, surrounded by bubbles.
9:30 PM – Cleanup (21:30-23:00 sharp)
Finally, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, our cleanup crew will ensure everything is taken care of. We want to leave the venue as beautiful as we found it.
